‘People in Centre’ member was invited to join an international team and conduct a regional training workshop organised by UNDP and ADPC for ASEAN and Pacific countries to build their capacities to conduct Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) during July 28-31, 2015 at Bangkok, Thailand. As resource person for ‘Housing and Community Infrastructure’, he facilitated training sessions on the subject. The training focussed on estimating damages, losses and recovery needs after a disaster. The participants represented various Government and UN organisations from Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Vietnam, and Vanuatu.
