PMKSY has four components: Accelerated Irrigation Benefits Program (₹ 11,060 crore), ‘per drop, more crop’ component (₹ 16,300 crore) to support micro irrigation, watershed program (₹ 13,590 crore) and a new component called Har Khet Ko Pani (₹ 9,050 crore) to construct one water harvesting structure per village by 2020.PiC team contributed to this policy paper by IWMI-Tata Program for an early analysis to understand and improve its socio-economic and livelihood impacts.
