In 2015, Gujarat faced flash floods due to heavy rains in Saurashtra. High intensity of rainfall led to overflow in river Shetrunji and Bhadar. These floods damaged not only innumerable water management infrastructure but also houses and livelihood assets. People in Centre team undertook a preliminary study to identify the nature and pattern of flooding and its impact on people. The report is available on request.
